Privacy policy
Translation for information only: the French version prevails.
In short: no account required, no password, no ads, no tracking cookies.
What stays on your phone
Your profile (nickname, styles, area, level, language, theme), your favourites, your “I'm in”, your filters and your submission draft are stored in your browser's storage. You can erase everything from Profile → Settings → “Delete my profile”, or by clearing the site's data in your browser. The transfer link or QR code contains this data: only share it with yourself.
“I'm going”
When you say you're going to a party, we store a random identifier specific to your phone (no name, no email), the party and the date, to show the number of participants. Your nickname is never shown to others: only numbers are displayed. To detect abuse, we also keep an encrypted fingerprint of your IP address (the address itself is not stored). This data is kept for 24 months and then deleted. You can erase it at any time from Profile → Settings → “Clear my history”.
Party submissions
The information sent through “Submit” (and your email if you give it) is used to check and publish the event and to let you know when it is online. The event information becomes public; your email stays private and is deleted 12 months after your last submission. A poster is only published if you ticked the permission box.
Audience measurement
We use Vercel Web Analytics, which measures traffic in aggregate, without cookies and without identifying visitors, including the channel through which you arrive on a shared link (WhatsApp, Instagram…).
To count daily visitors, your phone sends its random identifier once a day (no name, no email, no IP address), with three flags: profile created or not, app installed or not, favourites or not. This data is used for statistics only and deleted after 13 months.
When you write to us
If you report an error or contact us by email, we receive the information you send (including your email address). It is used only to handle your request and is kept for 12 months at most.
Organisers
Listings contain public professional information about events (organiser's name, venue, links). You can ask for them to be corrected or removed at any time.
Processors
Supabase (database, servers in the EU), Vercel (hosting), Brevo (emails, France), Cloudflare Turnstile (anti-bot protection, no advertising cookies).
Vercel is based in the United States: transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your data: contact@sortirsbk.fr. You can also contact the CNIL (cnil.fr).
